The Top Trails Near Cheyenne

There are a lot of great hiking trails near Cheyenne, Wyoming. Wyoming is one of the greatest states for hiking and beautiful landscapes so this is no surprise. If you would like to try out some of the trails near Cheyenne, don’t forget to check these out.

Turtle Rock Trail

This trail is three miles long and it is in a large circle around a rock that is shaped like a turtle. It’s a great trail for beginning hikers. Cyclists are also welcome on the trail.

Cheyenne Greenway Trail

This trail is actually 37 miles long, and it runs through a great deal of the city. There are many different points throughout the city that will give you access to the trail.

Shoreline Trail

This is one of the most popular trails in Curt Gowdy State Park, and it is very wide. It’s 2.6 miles long, and it welcomes pedestrians as well as bikes.

Towhee Loop

Located in Fort Collins, this trail is three miles long. Only pedestrians are allowed on this trail so don’t bring your bike. It also features some extremely wonderful views.

Crow Creek Trail

This trail is 1.8 miles long and it is for the more moderate hikers as well as mountain bikers. The waterfall on the west end of this trail is truly beautiful. This trail has a daily fee of four dollars.

Poudre Trail

This trail is also located in Fort Collins, and it is over 10 miles long. The trail is paved for the most part. Bikers are welcome as well as pedestrians.
